SWD CRICKET T20 KICKS-OFF THIS WEEKEND
23 September 2024
The 2024/25 domestic leagues of South Western Districts Cricket will kick-off on Saturday with the Six Gun Grill T20 competition.
All affiliated clubs, together with the SWD u/19’s are drawn into eight pools with the pool winners that will advance to the quarter finals which will be contested on 12 October. The semi-final’s is scheduled for 19 October and the final, which will be played at the REC Ground, will takes place on 20 October. Pacaltsdorp United are the defending champions and besides the title the winner will have the opportunity to qualify to represent the Western Cape in the Cricket South Africa T20 Community Challenge.
In the women’s league the Division 1 50-over competition and Promotion and Reserve league will also start this weekend.
