CAVALIERS ADVANCED TO PREMIER LEAGUE FINAL

Knysna Cavaliers, on Saturday, has advanced to the final of the Six Gun Grill SWD premier league competition and they will now take on the defending champions, Pacaltsdorp United on Saturday 30 March.
Cavaliers, at Loerie Park, recorded a comprehensive 8 wicket victory over Union Stars I. The visitors were dismissed for a modest 79 thanks the impressive bowling performances by Mesuli Vuba 3/24, Francois Bonthuys 2/9, Lutho Nqgongwa 2/13 and AB van der Walt 2/19).
Cavaliers, booked a place in their third consecutive final when they surpassed the target – 80/2 – in the 12th over. Van der Walt top scored with 44*.
