CRICKETING HUB HEAD COACH – ROSEMOORE, GEORGE
CONTRACT PERIOD: 1 SEPTEMBER 2014 – 30 APRIL 2015
KEY JOB OBJECTIVE
The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities as applicable to the Rosemoore Hub (In George) and to conduct coaching programs.
KEY JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Good understanding of cricket business.
- Good leadership skills.
- Sound analysis and judgement skills at all levels as well as good interpersonal skills.
- Be in possession of a Level II coaching qualification as endorsed by Cricket South Africa.
- Actively involved in the cricket structures.
- Good administrative and organizing skills and a background in cricket coaching will be essential.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The successful candidate, who will report to the High Performance Coach, will be responsible for fulfilling the following key requirements:
- The management of the regional age group cricket teams in conjunction with administrative functions that will be fulfilled by the SWD cricket office.
- Provide leadership to the teams at the Hub.
- Assume full responsibility for the management related and to submit formal reports on all activities to the office of the SWDCB.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the parents, schools and Clubs.
- Unconditional commitment towards the objectives of the SWDCB.
- Will be required to attend all Hub and Coaching Forum activities.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the coaching and coordination of the total program at the Hub. It will also be required of the successful candidate to manage, arrange and attend all scheduled fixtures of the regional team Hub teams as applicable.

The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and do coaching as applicable to grow the Black African Cricket Development program in Kwanonqaba.
KEY JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Good understanding of cricket business.
- Good leadership skills.
- Sound analysis and judgement skills at all levels as well as good interpersonal skills.
- Be in possession of a Level 2 coaching qualification as endorsed by Cricket South Africa.
- Actively involved in the cricket structures of the SWD.
- Actively involved in the respective coaching forums.
- Good administrative and organizing skills and a background in cricket coaching will be essential.
- Be able to communicate fluently in English and Xhosa
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The successful candidates will be responsible for the coaching, coordination and growth of the total Black African Cricket Development program in the region/club/schools of responsibility and will report to the High Performance Coach regarding the progress of the program. Successful candidates will need to identify elite players for representative age group teams.
It will also be required of the successful candidate to manage, arrange and attend all scheduled fixtures of the club team as applicable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coaching and coordination of the total cricket program at the NMMU George campus.
KEY JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Good leadership skills.
- Sound analysis and judgement skills at all levels as well as good interpersonal skills.
- Be in possession of a Level II coaching qualification as endorsed by Cricket South Africa.
- Actively involved in the cricket structures of the SWD.
- Good administrative and organizing skills and a background in cricket coaching will be essential.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The appointed candidate report to the Club Cricket coordinator of SWD Cricket regarding the progress of the program and will also liaise with the Sport Officer at the Sport Bureau of the NMMU George campus.
It will also be required of the successful candidate to manage, arrange and attend all scheduled fixtures of the club team as applicable – including the National USSA week (November/December 2014).
Further:
- Ability to coach players and the ability to technically analyse games
- To report on regular basis regarding the planning and activities at the club
- Fulfils administrative and organizational responsibilities

PERFORMAX & CRICHQ ADMINISTRATOR
CONTRACT PERIOD: 1 SEPTEMBER 2014 – 30 APRIL 2015
KEY JOB OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the administration of the Performax Management system and CricHQ scoring system of the SWD Cricket Board (SWDCB)
KEY JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least NQF level 4, or Grade 12
- A Computer literacy qualification is essential with specific reference to knowledge and previous data capturing and administration programs.
- Good administrative, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of the business of cricket.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Administer the total Performax Management system regarding the capturing of data and statistics (including all departments)
- Administer CricHQ scoring system
- Liaison with all department regarding the capturing of information and interaction with individual players, administrators, officials and coaches
- Liaison with Cricket South Africa and the national head office of Braxton and CricHQ
- Preparation of monthly reports
- Reports to the Amateur Manager
